ICoin

The objective

The aim of this project is to show the animation process of the UI design for ICoin, a FinTech investing app.

Purpose and Context

This was a project for my course specialization in Animation at CareerFoundry.

My role was to develop motion concepts using storyboards, showcasing examples of transitions between the screens and screen-specific details like microinteractions. At the beginning of the project, I decided which core brand values should be expressed in the app, and provide the client with style fundamentals like the color scheme and fonts.

Challenge

It was difficult for me to not overload the user with too many animations, and to keep it simple, however, I overcame this challenge by focusing on the micro-interactions and keeping in mind the values of my app: Preciseness, Simplicity and Trust.
